Sing With Us

We have a small professional core of paid singers. Most of us, however, are rewarded many times over by the joy of singing in a fine chorus with an excellent director.

 

You are invited to join Musica Sacra by audition with Artistic Director Steven Phillips. To arrange an audition time you may email Steven directly at phillipsconnect@gmail.com.

 

Your audition will include:

• Vocalizing with Steven to hear range and dexterity.

• Singing a piece of your choosing. This piece can be advanced vocal literature, or it may be as simple as a hymn.

• Sight singing a choral piece of medium difficulty, provided by Steven.

 

The audition will take about 15 minutes. We aim to make this a collaborative and comfortable experience, so just relax and go for it!
